In early 2018, Photonic will be introducing F6000-M, the brightest endoscopy light source currently available on the market. The new model will be setting new standards with innovative functions like a cascadable current driver and next-generation LEDs.
The F6000-M endoscopy light source by Photonic promises to deliver no less than a 100% light increase compared to other modules now available in this sector of the market. “As a strategic partner of renowned LED manufacturers, we are one of the first suppliers to obtain innovative next-generation LEDs. In combination with our new cascadable current drivers for extremely high LED currents, the high-end cooling system, and the optical Iight coupling, we have managed to achieve light fluxes of over 2,500 lumens at the fibre optic output”, explains Photonic Product Manager Christoph Csekö. After around one year of development, the F6000-M now exceeds even 300-watt xenon light sources while also offering lifecycle cost savings of well above EUR 15,000 Euros per module. Moreover, thanks to the cascadable current driver, it is possible to achieve the redundancies specifically required in medical technology. As a result, both manufacturers and users can look forward to a significant improvement in quality.
A modular setup, minimum ripple and flicker-free dimming
The F6000-M module was developed specifically for application in medical endoscopy and microscopy. Especially in these areas, endoscopes are becoming increasingly thin, thus requiring greater light density. Thanks to its modular setup, the F6000-M can be individually adjusted to the customer’s requirements and be integrated in every existing lighting system. In addition, its innovative LED technology allows for a minimal ripple and flicker-free dimming. For users, this means that brightness is adjusted using LED current and that the light remains on without interruptions. This virtually rules out any disruptions. Brightness can be adjusted in 100 steps down to extremely small LED currents. As a result, the module is also suitable for use in lighting systems specifically designed for camera applications.
PHOTONIC looks forward to presenting you its new products at MEDICA 2017: a Minor Surgical Light and LED-Module for your specific medical light-application.

Smart Teamwork leads to outstanding performance
To fnd out why startup Briefcase Biotec relies on the WILD Group’s extensive manufacturing knowledge for its „Nespresso machine for DNA synthesis“ just as particle measurement technology market leaderAVL does for its nanoparticle sensor, go to pages 3 and 6. We also glimpse into the future with Photonic, which is making the most of its expertise in medical and optical technologies to gain a foothold in the future market of photobiomodulation.
With our new Homepage we introduce new ways to potential and existing customers to get exactly the information they need.
The new Design and structure enables an overview over the long history of PHOTONIC and gives insights into our product- and service portfolio. Furthermore, we offer extra content to members in our Download-Area with more details on our products.

SMART Production – Synergy from analog and digital systems
Industry 4.0 is not just a catchword at WILD, we are aiming at the perfect combination of analog and digital systems. How does it work? Read more in the current issue and find out why analogue solutions still bring
advantages in the production process and how we have managed, in a cooperation with WUGGL, to design the measurement of animals more precisely and stress-free by means of an optical scale built in a smartphone-like device.
In addition, we are also introduce innovations from the company PHOTONIC: The high power ring light is just before the market launch and already convinces customers with intuitive control and flexible working distances.
The new magazine will show that rapid transition of competencies with high quality and precision do not contradict.
With the begin of 2017 we are answering the question, why the WILD group has all the competencies necessary to be the strategic partner for outsourcing projects.
Furthermore we will introduce the new product from PHOTONIC, a completely new fibre-coupled light source for life science applications. The innovative light source will be able to cover all current illumination applications in microscopy.
The magazine will also show, why our assembly engineers are true masters in their trade and which services the WILD group can offer for every phase of the product development and value chain.
The forth and last issue of the magazine PRISMA for 2016 is all about quality.
The topic ‘quality’ has many aspects to it. Strategic partners like AKG and plasmo trust the quality of our production and service when it comes to crucial products of their respective business. To meet the quality requirements within the WILD Group certain supporting processes are necessary. Therefore we lay focus on our HR-Management and Network management, because the extension of our knowledge-base ist essential to all members of the WILD Group. Read more about theses topics in the recent issue of PRISMA.
The third edition of our Magazine – PRISMA – focuses on the base of the sustainable success of the WILD Group.
The optimal product development is crucial for the success prior to a product launch. To achieve the best solution for our customer, we take advantage of the close cooperation between our R&D department and the production. Customers get access to our expertise in product development via six different service packages, which can be adapted individually to create the perfect fit with our customer’s needs. Besides our development and engineering competence PRISMA highlights the diversity of our company and employees. Finally, we introduce two essential factors for our competitive advantage: energy efficiency and our groupwide IT-Infrastructure.
In the second issue of PRISMA we shed light on our competencies in Supply Chain Management and challenges of Logistics 4.0.
Flexibility, Transparency, shorter Time-to-Market – Nowadays Supply Chain Management has to tackle all these challenges. Together with Prof. (FH) DI Franz Staberhofer, chairman of “Network Logistics”, we take a closer look inside and see what is about to come. He introduces upcoming challenges and explains, why SCM is the crucial backbone of todays companies.
What is more, we will reveal why Carl Zeiss Microscoy will intensify the cooperation with Photonic und how the new CEO of WILD Technoliges, Helmut Wurm, introduces the next stage of development of the company. All this and more awaits you in our recent magazine.
The new issue of our magazine – PRISMA – is about flawless processes
In this edition we focus on unmatched precision through a state-of-the-art high performance lathe, internationally approved quality management, better flow of communication, an improved strobe function and a strategic appointment in the business development as a result of our ongoing improvement process. WILD sheds light on its process management which is crucial to meet customer needs and legal requirements all over the world.
